Born out of necessity and loved for it’s quality, SOLAQUA is an Australian based, luxurious lifestyle brand inspired by fashion, travel, art and culture. A blend of style and sustainability, SOLAQUA was inspired by the sun & the sea, the essence of summer.

With a background in fashion, founder Jessica Cognetta conceptualised SOLAQUA while packing for an Italian holiday. Research into sustainability and ethical standards saw Jessica partner with a third-generation Loomer based in Turkey who only produces the highest quality in hand loomed textiles made from locally grown certified organic cotton and linens.

From their inception, SOLAQUA was more than just a towel company. They are an ethical and environmentally conscious, female-owned and operated label. They value traditional craftsmanship and support a community of makers. Each piece is a work of art, hand-loomed by skilled artisans on a vintage loom from the 1960s.

Perfect for the beach, lounging by your pool, or in your home, their towels, blankets and robes are designed to be light weight, fast drying and multi functional.

From products to packaging, SOLAQUA is 100% plastic-free. Their textiles are sustainably sourced, ethically loomed and 100% organic. The SOLAQUA box is constructed using sustainably sourced paper and printed with soy-based inks. As we grow, it is our mission to continue to be environmentally and ethically responsible.
